With the start of spring comes ... spring cleaning!

To help you out in one of the most rewarding cleans of the year, I've compiled some of my favorite, easy spring cleaning tips.

  1. Clean your washing machine by running a cycle with bleach, then a cycle with vinegar.
  2. Put your damp sponge in the microwave for 2 minutes to kill the sponge germs.
  3. For an easy oven cleaner, create a mixture of baking soda, water, and dish detergent to spray your oven down with.
  4. Steam clean your microwave by mixing vinegar and water in a bowl and microwaving for 10 minutes. Remove the bowl, wipe it down, and there you have it!
  5. Soak your blinds in the bathroom with water and bleach (or vinegar). They will look like new!
  6. Clean your blender without even taking it apart - just add soap and water, then turn it on!
  7. Remove tarnish easily with baking soda.
  8. Use a lint roller to dust lamp shades.
  9. Clean micro fiber couches with alcohol, and scrub with a sponge or brush.
  10. Remove that bathtub scum easily with water, lemon juice, and vinegar.
  11. Get rid of toilet rings with a swipe of a dryer sheet.
  12. Mix baking soda and lavender oil for a fresh mattress cleaner! Just spread the mix over your mattress, wait an hour, and vacuum.
  13. Remove furniture indents from your carpet with ice cubes.
  14. Fill a bag with vinegar, tie to your shower head, and leave overnight for a no-hassle clean.
